GIRRFOPOTAMUS

Scientists have just discovered this animal that diverged in evolution.

 The Girrfopotamus

It is a semi-aquatic sociable creature. It's excellent eyesight helps it locate it's favorite food, low hanging Acacia leaves (when standing upright) or it's second best, Savannah grass (when lying down). It's barrel-like body secretes oil that prevents it's delicate skin from sun-burn and where it can't reach to scratch or clean, it's buddy bird the red-billed Oxpecker is there to lend a helping beak...(Actually, my nephew Thijs asked me to draw him some animals and I asked him to name two.)
