HIDE AND GO SEEK

This is the final version I was quite satisfied with. I played around the idea of hide-and-go-seek and thought it would be kind of funny to have the King of Lizards right behind me, looking down while I have just realized I'd been found, passing my hand over it's ivory-like teeth. It's other minions emerge from the foggy atmosphere, while a little green dinosaur, that stays perched on a log, draws more attention to what I thought was a good hiding place.

The dinosaurs were all desaturated, their contrast lowered just to push them back into the fog and produce the illusion of atmospheric perspective. I tweaked the colors of my own picture to make me look like I am part of the scene and added a small tree in the foreground and used added a bit of Gaussian Blur for some depth of field and drama to the whole piece.

Since I am ever so fascinated with dinosaurs, I did this fun project for myself using Photoshop. That's a picture of me in front of a green wall. I downloaded some royalty free pictures and had asked permission from the owners if I could use them just for a personal project.

I like to start off with all the images I'd need, label them and file them properly before I begin my creative process. I prefer not to keep clicking around looking for images since it will interrupt my flow once I start getting things cracking.
